Hi, I’m Zara.
I’m a University of Michigan & Columbia’s Teachers College graduate with a Masters in English Education. I’ve worked in classrooms for over 10 years, teaching everything from pre-K to Shakespeare to college-level writing workshops. I’m also a parent to three young children. I know the importance of creating trust and connection in educational relationships, and I recognize the particular challenges of virtual learning. I bring humor and play to all of my work, because a happy, engaged student is a student who is learning.
